Highland Drops Burnsville

Highland Park bumped off Burnsville 5-2 in a non con game yesterday.

The day before, in late St. Paul action, Harding swept Highland 7-0. Johnson bounced back from Friday's loss with a 6-1 win over Como Park.

Today St. Paul starts their city tournament. I believe it is at Central. I will try to get there. I figure half a loaf is better than no loaf.

Yesterday Minneapolis had their city championships. I reported (second hand) on the results. There was confusion on what day the event was going to take place, I thought I heard Wednesday. It was Tuesday. Here are the champs:
Singles: Bee Xiong, South; 2nd: Chui Mai Thao, Edison
Doubles: Yer Yang/Choua Yang, Henry (2nd team); 2nd: Julie Lor/PaNhia Xiong, Edison. This was an upset.
