MN TOURNAMENT LOOSE ENDS
Here are some of the stories from the Minnesota State Badminton tournament held last week.
Burnsville was host, but they did not advance to the final four. This Week papers tell about the Blaze's win over Minneapolis Southwest, and loss to St. Paul Johnson
On the singles side St. Paul Harding's Pang Thao finished undefeated. I went through the numbers last week, but here are the other sides of the story with the StarTribune and St. Paul Pioneer Press with their accounts
There also was a story about Pang Kou Yang in the Pioneer Press. She played at Highland Park and pushed Pang Thao to the brink in the round of 16 in a 4-11, 11-4, 11-9 match. She has an interesting, and heartbreaking story. You will have to scroll down as she is one of four featured in the article.
